I forgot to mention, I am now granting demo access. Just send me a PM and then you can checkout the backend and the frontend. (so far - I would post details but don't want it to be spammed or whatever) Thanks.

Sorry to bump, but what happened with this? It was literally sounding like my dream CMS, and I know many others who were really looking forward to this, and then it was just gone...

I haven't worked on coding stuff much at all for a little while including this. I am still hoping for Fall or Winter but I need to for one find the time to work on it but more importantly take a look and see if the direction of the script is worth taking that way or improving it or what.
In the next week or two I will be able to give more info.

Sorry for the lack of updates but I will be working on AdaptCMS again. I actually got much farther than I remembered, only having a few features and then testing, looking for bugs/security fixes, etc.
However I do need feedback. I don't want random visitors or people spamming it, so if you want to see the demo send me a PM. (or IM me at AIM when I'm on) You can tell me your thoughts here or privately as well. Thanks.

Hey reds, when will this be finished? Also some suggestions -
Auto posting from RSS feeds
Word re-writer for SEO. Basically for example say you were taking feeds from a site about Formula 1, it would change all words from that to F1. Or for poker it would change it to "hold em" so there wouldnt be any duplicate content. Its a feature i would desperatley like and im sure quite alot of other people would love it too.

I have to say I'm not really sure what you mean. Or I should say why couldn't the person use F1 instead of Formula, for example, in the review (or whatever it is)? And I don't understand how it would have to do with duplicate content. I'm confused.
As for when it will be finished. I am expecting spring, since I have to finish AdaptBB and then this.

heh yeah well for obvious reasons. I just don't want one completely done and the other halfway done because support for the CMS would be slow while programming the forum script.
I will start back up working on it in the coming days though aside from ratings, comments (might do Ajax ) and view content page I can't think of what else is done aside from going through code and basic stuff.

Reds, for example.
Say if you wanted to have your website run automatic off rss feeds from adapt cms. What i was suggesting if you have a " Word re-write" feature so when you are taking the feeds it would not be in the same content as the source, thus having better rankings in the serps because of fresh content

I think what he's referring to is scraping. Basically taking RSS feeds and when brought through the CMS it would replace words with other predefined ones. Basically its a way to steal content and not get penalized by google for it.

If you want to put it like that yeah, but its a good feature to have...would attract alot of people.

Sorry for the delayed response, never showed for me there were no posts. Anyways I will have to think about it maybe as an add-on as the CMS is for content sites and has nothing like a RSS parser associated with it.
An update on this project will be available soon at the topic thread for Insane Visions:

oh he can charge what he likes, and tbh i dont think a word changing feature would be any good. And google see's straight through it, just dont be lazy and either rewrite it by hand yourself, or pay someone to do it for ya!
